Leading FDI Strategies, LLC is Eric Moraczewski whose background is in running the finances and operations in a variety of business environments both in the US and abroad. Eric has foreign direct investment experience in Asia, working to set up corporations in Singapore and China and growing business around the world. In addition, he has mentored companies setting up business both domestically and internationally, as well as been asked to speak on cross-border accounting practices.
Eric holds a BSBA in Marketing and Finance from Saint Louis University and is currently enrolled in the Executive MBA Program for Washington University in St. Louis and set to graduate in early 2016.
Managing Director - China
Jonathan runs the Chinese operations for FDI Strategies, focusing both on inbound and outbound opportunities and execution. Prior to joining FDI Strategies, Jonathan was a General Manager in the Investment Management Division at the Wanda Group in Beijing, responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with international strategic partners and pursuing investment opportunities such as minority positions, joint ventures and private placements. Investment and partnership emphasis included Media and Entertainment where he led negotiations on Wanda’s first international film finance and distribution deal with the Weinstein Company. Before joining the Wanda Group, Jonathan was with Goldman Sachs for ten years as a Vice President in the Investment Management Division.
Jonathan earned an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins-Nanjing University Center for Advanced International Studies. Jonathan completed his undergrad work at the University of Utah with a Bachelors in Economics.
Stephen Rothstein, Ph.D.
Director of Strategy
Steve brings extensive, worldwide experience in strategy development and planning to FDI Strategies. He enjoyed a 20+ year career in the U.S. Air Force, first as an operational fighter pilot before transitioning to a broader role as a geo-political, national security, and organizational strategist. Steve rounded out his military career as a Professor of Strategy, educating the service’s next generation of strategists and executive leaders at the Air Force’s most elite, masters-level strategic studies school. Since then, and prior to joining FDI Strategies, he has been the President (and founder) of the Colorado Springs Science Center, and also engaged throughout in helping to develop a variety of other regionally-strategic initiatives to help grow and shape southern Colorado’s long-term economic landscape.
Steve holds a Ph.D. in International Relations (emphases in Strategy, International Security, and Organizational Behavior) from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, an MA in National Security Strategy from the School of Advanced Airpower Studies, and a BS in Humanities/Philosophy from the United States Air Force Academy.
Director of Business Development
Rick is a faculty member at the University of Colorado, where he teaches in the Bachelor of Innovation Course Curriculum. Prior to teaching at the University of Colorado, Rick also taught at Lake Forest College in their MBA program.
Rick founded American Business Systems (Computer software) in 1982 and took ABS international in 1997 with offices in Paris, France. He was also fortunate to have started two other ventures, American Business Technologies, and Woodland Springs Inc (Commercial Water Treatment…Culligan).
Rick holds both an MBA Marketing and BS In Natural Sciences from Xavier University Cincinnati Ohio.
